The Goldwyn Award

The Robert M. Goldwyn, M.D. Lifetime Achievement Award

Named and established in honor of Dr. Robert M. Goldwyn in a presentation to him at the 2009 50th Anniversary Annual Meeting, the Robert M. Goldwyn, M.D. Lifetime Achievement Award honors Dr. Goldwyn’s humor, kindness, wit, wisdom, and overall excellence in plastic surgery.

Dr. Goldwyn’s career has served as an inspiration to plastic surgeons worldwide.

Of note, the 50th Anniversary Annual Meeting took place in Dr. Goldwyn’s home city of Boston. The meeting at which this prestigious award was established would turn out to be the last plastic surgery annual meeting Dr. Goldwyn attended before leaving us on March 23, 2010.
