Welcome

The New England Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, one of the oldest regional plastic surgery societies organized by four forward-thinking plastic surgeons in Boston, MA, in 1959, they believed in bringing plastic surgeons together to promote education, improve rapport and increase scientific knowledge.

About NESPRS

Mission Statement

NESPRS

  • To promote educational and research activities in the field of plastic surgery
  • To improve standards of practice of plastic and reconstructive surgery
  • To generate within its membership an increase in scientific knowledge
  • To improve rapport between the plastic surgeons, patient, and the general public
  • To promote and encourage the highest standards of ethical conduct among plastic and reconstructive surgeons practicing in New England
  • To provide a medium for the exchange of information, ideas, and knowledge relating to the art, science, and development of plastic surgery
  • To educate the members and attendees through clinical or basic science presentations.   

Accreditation and Designation

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the  accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for  Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of  American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the New England Society  of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (NESPRS). The American Society of  Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) is accredited by the ACCME to provide  continuing medical education for physicians.
